Shark Tank Judges Contributes to Uplift Dil Foods-Bringing India to your Plate
A Bangalore-based virtual restaurant operator 'Dil Foods' which brings tasty food and authentic diverse flavors in your plate which is storming over the market right now due to their recent achieved funding on the platform of Shark Tank India Season 3. The company was started by Arpita Aditi in 2022. Within just one year, she came into contact with over 65 local restaurants in Bangalore and Hyderabad, empowering small and medium-sized food enterprises through its virtual brands.
Arpita marked her footfall on the stage of Shark Tank India Season 3 to seek an investment of Rs. 50 lakhs in exchange for a 0.5% equity stake. On the stage of Shark Tank she locked the deal of Rs.2 crore in exchange of 2.67% equity by Radhika Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Ritesh Agarwal.
The founder Arpita is biotech engineer from MIT. She worked in Himalayan Drugs, Reliance Capital where she gained the knowledge of business planning. She worked as National Partnership Manager in Swiggy for Two years. Her brand promotes eight virtual food brands, including Dil Punjabi, Aahar, The Chaat Cult, House of Andhra, Bihari Bowl, Bhole ke Chole, and Khichdi Bar, each offering an authentic taste of regional India.
