Simply Nam Secures Strategic Investment from Bhaane Group to Accelerate Growth

• Celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni’s brand Simply Nam raises funding from Anand Ahuja-led Bhaane Group
• Brand to double MRR, expand product portfolio, and scale omnichannel presence
• Focus on Indian skin tones, vegan formulas, and skincare-forward innovation
Singapore-based beauty firm Simply Nam, which was co-founded by celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni and entrepreneur Hanna Strömgren Khan, has obtained an undisclosed amount of funding from the Bhaane Group's Anand S. Ahuja, who is married to actress Sonam Kapoor.
The investment is a major milestone for Simply Nam as it looks to build on its product portfolio expansion, scale operations, and more than double its monthly recurring revenue (MRR) within the next year.
Launched in 2020, Simply Nam is India's leading beauty brand founded by a celebrity makeup artist. With an emphasis on the Indian skin tone, texture, and climatic needs, the brand offers professional-grade as well as skincare-focused, vegan, and cruelty-free products. Its best-sellers include the Ultimate Kajal, Sweet Kisses Hydrating Lip Balm, Satin Soft Lip Cremes, Pixie Dust, Dawn to Dusk Eyeshadow Palette, and Magic Tinted Lip Oil.
"Not only is Simply Nam a beauty brand it's the culmination of my career and deep knowledge of what Indian women need," Namrata Soni said. "Having worked with Sonam Kapoor for over 17 years, it's truly special to now co-found the brand with her and Anand, not just as business partners, but as believers in our vision and values. Their faith in this stage recharges my confidence as we grow our community and brand footprint."
The firm has gained incredible momentum, doubling its clients over the past year and boasting a 40% customer retention rate. On average, it has a monthly recurring revenue of Rs 2 crore and is becoming increasingly popular on leading digital and fast-commerce platforms such as Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Tira Beauty, Zepto, and Blinkit.
Explaining the investment, co-founder Hanna Strömgren Khan said, "This fundraise is not capital it's alignment. Namrata and I were looking for a partner from day one who shared our vision of building a leading Indian beauty brand on the pillars of quality, innovation, and purpose. In Bhaane Group, we've found that synergy."
Khan, also Bozzil and Leezu's CEO, stated the strategic investment will propel Simply Nam's efforts to introduce new, high-performance products, expand its educational content, and boost its omnichannel presence.
As the brand enters its second stage of growth, Simply Nam aims to be a household name among Indian beauty by staying true to its philosophy: accessible, affordable, and meaningful beauty for all Indian women.
