• With plans to enter over 200 micro-markets, Snabbit aims to revolutionize the industry.
Snabbit, a fast-growing on-demand home services platform, has raised $19 million in Series B funding led by venture capital firm Lightspeed with participation from existing investors Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. The new funding will support Snabbit's efforts to expand into major metropolitan areas of India, and over 200 micro-trade markets around the country, in the next nine months.
The company is on a mission to build India's first end-to-end operating system for home services backed by technology, reliability, and a large community of trained professionals. Through the expansion, Snabbit will be able to assist users in easily accessing all aspects of home repairs such as plumbing, electrical issues and other services in one click.
Aayush Agarwal, founder and CEO of Snabbit, spoke about the company’s mission to revolutionize the home services sector. "While ride-hailing has transformed mobility and e-commerce has reshaped retail, home services in India have largely remained undigitized. At Snabbit, we are solving for trust, quality, and speed, offering customers a seamless, on-demand experience," Agarwal said. He further emphasized the universal need for reliable home services, noting that the category is massive, and Snabbit is just getting started.
‘Aayush and the team are building a platform for urban households; a completely new category that will cater to the needs of millions,’ said Lightspeed partner Rahul. In the context stating that Snabbit is bringing structure and trust to a sector that has traditionally operated informally.
According to Suvir Sujan, co-founder of Nexus Venture Partners, stated "Snabbit continues to execute with clarity and purpose in a space that’s long overdue for change. ‘They’ve taken a complex, hyperlocal problem and built a scalable, full-stack solution that delivers value to both consumers and professionals”. With the latest round of funding, Snabbit is primed for growth as it continues to meet the clear demand for high-quality, on-demand home services for consumers across India.
