Space tech firm 'Matrix Geo Solutions' nets $1 million in Pre-IPO round

In its pre-IPO round, Matrix Geo Solutions, a geospatial startup based on drone and space technology, secured over $1 million from Tryrock Capital Trust AIF, Viney Equity Markets LLP, and Chittorgarh Infotech Limited. As of right present, Matrix Geo plans to submit a DRHP for a SME IPO shortly.

The money raised will be utilized to accelerate expansion and increase market share in the quickly growing drone services industry both domestically and internationally.

Matrix Geo Solutions, which was founded in 2008 by Amit Sharma and Rahul Jain, uses cutting-edge drone and satellite technology to assist clients with planning, monitoring, and management. Better decision-making, cost savings, and efficiency are all fueled by this technology.

Railways, roads, ropeways, irrigation, agriculture, hydropower, metro projects, mining, urban planning, solar power, inspections, and surveillance are just a few of the industries the company says it has successfully served in recent years.

The "Drone Academy of India," an educational program recently introduced by Delhi-based Matrix Geo Solutions, aims to increase market reach and capacity. Students, government organizations, and large infrastructure businesses can all benefit from the academy's hands-on, industry-focused drone and space technology training.

Lightspeed and other investors led a $1.7 million seed round last week for the drone technology startup Airbound.
