SuperGaming, a Pune-based gaming firm, has raised $15 million in funding successfully, recording a milestone in its journey as one of India's most promising gaming startups. The latest round, bringing the company valuation to approximately $100 million a five times increase from its valuation two years ago in 2021 was led by Skycatcher and Steadview Capital, with support from a16z Speedrun, Bandai Namco 021 Fund, Neowiz, and Polygon Ventures.
SuperGaming, which has created India-focused games such as MaskGun and eagerly awaited Indus Battle Royale, will utilize the capital to increase its presence in global markets, especially in countries like Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe. The firm is following a hyper-local content approach and customizing its gaming offerings in relation to the local culture, tastes, and storylines.

One of the key initiatives towards this was the alliance with LOUD.GG, being one of the largest esports organizations in Latin America, to roll out Indus in the region. "International markets could potentially generate 3–5 times more revenues than India, so global scaling is a priority," says Roby John, co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming.
With this capital, SuperGaming also plans to empower other game developers from around the world through its in-house game engine and live ops platform to develop a strong ecosystem for scalable gaming infrastructure. The firm is also working on Web3 integrations for upcoming titles.
