The maker and exporter of biodegradable dinnerware Agrileaf has secured a Rs. 16-crore funding package led by Capital-A and Samarsh Capital. The round also saw participation from angel investors, including Shaji Devekar, Siddharth Bafna, the family office of Ved Prakash, Pritie Jain, Sumeet Bhalotia, and Chirant Patil.
The fresh cash will be used to broaden its presence in existing regions in the US and Europe, establish a consumer-oriented brand in India, and boost manufacturing capabilities.
