TIDA Sports, a youth-focused multi-sport training and coaching platform, has raised Rs 3 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The startup plans to use the funds to expand into new regions, enhance its technology, strengthen B2B operations, increase its pool of certified coaches, and scale on-ground marketing efforts.

Founded in 2023 by Adit Goel, Sumeet Malik, Priyansh Matta, and Sanchit Budhiraja, TIDA Sports aims to nurture young athletes through structured coaching, certified trainers, and programs that help students balance sports and academics. The company operates through collaborations with schools and local sports bodies, making training facilities and tournaments more accessible.

The startup has partnered with leading schools such as GD Goenka, DPS, DAV, and Aravali to manage and upgrade their sports programs. So far, TIDA Sports has organized over 100 tournaments and supported the development of players who have gone on to represent their states and the country in top-level competitions.

Currently active across Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Haryana, the company runs training centers in Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dehradun, Chandigarh tricity, Patiala, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ambala, Ludhiana, and Ferozepur. With more than 150 academies, TIDA Sports plans to expand into major cities nationwide and build a scalable sports development network.

The funding comes at a time when India’s sports industry is projected to grow from $52 billion to $130 billion by 2030. IPV, with a network of 24,000+ investors, continues to support early-stage startups and also operates Physis Capital, a $50 million VC fund focused on growth-stage companies.
