Troovy, a brand focused on children's nutrition, has successfullyraised Rs. 20 crore (approximately $2.3 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures. Other investors in this round include Veltis Capital, Spring Marketing Capital, and Sharrp Ventures. Earlier in 2023, Troovy had also completed an undisclosed seed funding round. The company plans to utilize the new funds to enhance product development and expand its distribution network.

Troovy, founded by Aditya Mukherjee and Mansi Baranwal, provides a variety of products that include multi-millet protein milk blends, protein instant pasta, protein vermicelli, high-protein chips and puffs, and immunity-boosting sauce and spreads. The products are prepared from natural ingredients, excluding processed sugar, palm oil, maida, and chemical additives or preservatives.

Following more than a year of trials, Troovy introduced a chemical-free, nutrition-based ketchup, employing natural ingredients such as soy flour and rosemary extract in place of artificial additives, and protein sources like dals, makhanas, green peas, and millets.

In the expanding market for children's health foods, Troovy rivals players such as Slurrp Farm, Timios, and The Mumum Co.

In a concomitant development, third-party logistics company Celcius Logistics, which offers cold chain solutions, has raised Rs. 250 crore (approximately $30 million) in its Series B funding round , co-led by Eurazeo and Omnivore, with the backing of existing investor IvyCap Ventures. The money will be utilized to upgrade technology platforms for handling temperature-sensitive logistics in the food and pharma industries, and to take operations to more than 1,000 cities in India. Celcius plans to solidify its position in the pharma logistics industry with this new venture.
