Healthcare edtech startup Virohan has raised Rs 65 crore ($7.5 million) in its ongoing Series B funding round, led by Mynavi Corporation. Existing investors Blume Ventures, Bharat Inclusive Technologies Seed Fund, and Rebright Partners also participated in the round.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to move faster toward profitability. Key priorities include strengthening its technology platform, improving operational efficiency, and expanding its leadership and academic teams.

Founded in 2018, Virohan partners with universities to deliver undergraduate programs in allied healthcare, nursing, and healthcare management. Its partner institutions include UPES (Dehradun), BBD University (Lucknow), CMR University (Bengaluru), Assam Don Bosco University (Guwahati), MIT University (Shillong), G.H. Raisoni University (Nagpur and Pune), Silver Oak University (Ahmedabad), among others.

Virohan also works closely with major healthcare employers such as Lenskart, Medanta, Healthians, and Dr. Lal PathLabs, helping students move smoothly from classrooms to real-world jobs. The startup positions itself as a bridge between education and employment in a sector facing a large talent shortage.

Commenting on the funding, Kunaal Dudeja, CEO of Virohan, said the healthcare system depends on skilled professionals, but broken education-to-employment pathways leave many roles vacant. He added that the company aims to impact one million learners by 2030 and support the allied healthcare workforce in India and overseas.

Hidekazu Ito, Managing Director at Mynavi India, said the global demand for healthcare talent is rising rapidly. He noted that Virohan’s mix of technology, industry-aligned learning, and strong university partnerships can reshape healthcare education at scale, especially in India.
