Wow! Momo Raises $8.4 Million from Singularity AMC to Fuel Expansion

Quick-service restaurant chain Wow! Momo is set to raise Rs 75 crore (approximately $8.4 million) in its ongoing Series D round from Singularity AMC. The company’s board approved the issuance of 7,838 Series D6 CCPS at Rs 95,699 per share, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). The latest funding takes the company’s post-money valuation to around Rs 2,838 crore ($316 million).

This marks Wow! Momo’s third fundraising in 2025, following a Rs 150 crore round led by Haldiram’s Kamal Agrawal, along with Khazanah and 360 One. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the chain’s footprint, strengthen working capital, and support broader corporate growth initiatives.

Founded in 2008 by Sagar Daryani and Binod Homagai, Wow! Momo operates over 700 outlets across 17 cities, managing brands like Wow! Momo, Wow! China, Wow! Chicken, and Wow! Kulfi. The company has raised over $140 million to date, including a $42 million Series D round led by Khazanah in January 2024. Following this latest tranche, Singularity AMC will hold a 2.64 percent stake in the firm.

For FY24, Wow! Momo reported a 13 percent year-on-year growth in operating revenue to Rs 470 crore, up from Rs 413 crore in FY23, while its losses remained steady at Rs 114 crore. The company has yet to file its FY25 financials. With continued investor support, Wow! Momo is focusing on expanding its reach while innovating its menu and customer experience across India.
