  • Xovian Aerospace secures $2.5M in pre-seed funding to advance AI-powered RF satellite tech.
  • Building a constellation of nanosatellites for real-time geospatial and signal intelligence.
  • Targeting high-impact sectors: defense, maritime, aviation, oil & gas, and weather forecasting.

Xovian Aerospace, a Bengaluru-based spacetech startup, has raised $2.5 million in pre-seed funding from Piper Serica and TurboStart, with involvement from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Eaglewings Ventures.

The funds will be used to propel space trials towards the end of this year and further develop AI-native radio frequency (RF) satellite infrastructure for real-time geospatial and signal intelligence.

In contrast to conventional satellites that depend only on optical information, Xovian is developing a constellation of RF nanosatellites that can capture and decode dynamic signals to provide low-latency, high-fidelity insights. The platform combines AI-driven decision intelligence, with support for mission-critical sectors including defense, aviation, maritime, oil and gas, and weather forecasting.

With its vertically integrated model, Xovian purportedly provides six times more data value per dollar than traditional systems. Pilot talks are already in progress in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Indian spacetech startups such as OrbitAid, InspeCity, and Sisir Radar have raised an estimated $21 million in 2025 combined, according to TheKredible.
