Gen Z Fashion Brand Outzidr Raises Rs 27 Crore to Expand Online-to-Offline Play

Outzidr, a fashion brand that sells only to Gen Z women and is primarily digital, has raised  Rs 27 crore (approximately $3.1 million) in pre-Series A. RTP Global led the round, with existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners continuing its support.

Established in 2024 by Justin Mario, Nirmal Jain, and Mani Kant Mani, Outzidr got formalized in February 2025. It specializes in western wear for Indian women between the age of 18 and 28 years, fashion created for brunches, concerts, college fests, and date nights basically, for an active and social life.

Within five months, Outzidr has hit 100,000 buyers, with retention being reportedly 1.5x higher than industry average. With a pilot-and-scale strategy at its heart, the company tests small quantities and doubles up on best-sellers. It silences as many as 2,000 new styles monthly (or about 500 weekly), both on its D2C website and on platforms such as Ajio, Myntra, and Nykaa Fashion.

The new funding will be used to scale its design, operations, and tech teams and to enable the launch of its first offline-only store by March 2026.

India's fast fashion industry standing currently at $10 billion is expected to surpass $50 billion by FY31, growing at 30% CAGR, as per a June 2024 RedSeer report.

Supporting the team's vision, Pavitra Gupta, Director at RTP Global, added, "Outzidr's intrinsic knowledge of Gen Z behavior and targeted vertical execution make it a very likely candidate to spearhead the next trend in women's fashion."

Stellaris Venture Partners, which led the brand's  Rs 30 crore seed round previously, doubled down again. "We supported Outzidr when it was an idea. The team's velocity, determination, and execution since then have been nothing less than inspiring," said Mayank Jain, Principal at Stellaris.
