Over the decade, the city recorded a total funding of $70.4 billion & pushed back the major cities Delhi-NCR (7,000) & Mumbai (4500 startups) to the second & third place respectively. The startup ecosystem of Bengaluru is built up with a lively blend of investors, mentors, entrepreneurs & incubators. Excluding the metropolitan cities, the non-metropolitan cities such as Jaipur has ranked top in rising funding for Fintech unexpectedly with $214 million. Similarly Kolkata & Ahmedabad spanning with its strong uphold of startups in key sectors is emerging as fastest-growing city for entrepreneurship in a country.
