Nikhil Dwivedi, Founder of EYP Creations, always believed that life is about taking chances, trying new things, having fun, making mistakes, and learning from it. Right from the beginning, Nikhil felt a strong desire to follow his dreams to venture into the entertainment business. Therefore, while interning with Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions in their Entrepreneurship Development Centre, he formulated EYP Creations along with Mayuri Gupta and Ankush Dharmani and started working on a couple of events in Chandigarh. Unfortunately, in a few party gigs, they had to bear a loss and decided to stop doing events. Also, before stepping to the professional world, they were in a dilemma to take a drop or start over again. But the passionate entrepreneurs understood that failure is a part of every business, and they bounced back stronger, establishing EYP Creations in 2013. EYP Creations did go through several challenges, as well as learnings. Some of its initial roadblocks were getting seed investment, huge cost of staging a music festival and convincing artists to step out of their comfort zone & making them join in an event management company, which will create more business opportunities for them. But the team of 44 young and creative professionals managed artists and build festivals excellently taking the company to a different level. "We captured the entertainment factor with a motive to provide a facility countrywide where people can enjoy and have a great time. Our festivals were a massive hit and have become a favorite for several brands. Whatever brand we have started all have been with us right from the beginning to date. The continuation is only because of the deliverables that we have given to those brands," he adds. Mentors like Manvir S. Randhawa, Satvinder Singh Kohli, and Gurvinder Singh Bahra played a crucial role in helping EYP Creations reach the pinnacle of success. With Punjabi music booming worldwide, the company is planning to capture global attention, especially in Canada and the UK markets in the coming years.
