Founding the Right Direction

When Oneindig Technologies launched in 2016, the goal was to contribute to India’s Smart Cities Mission. The Indian government had just unveiled its plans, and Oneindig Technologies' vision was to offer end-to-end solutions, from securing capital to fulfilling and managing projects.

They even partnered with an American company willing to provide financial backing. But as a brand new firm without a track record, Oneindig Technologies couldn’t meet the eligibility criteria for government tenders. That setback led to a major shift in direction.

Instead of pursuing smart city projects, they turned to solar, an area where they could start small with rooftop installations and grow from there. The move proved to be the right one, giving Oneindig Technologies a strong footing in the renewable energy sector.

Services at Oneindig

Oneindig Technologies offers customised solutions to fit each customer’s energy needs. One of the key offerings is captive solar plants for companies with multiple locations. For instance, if a business has seven or eight factories with different power requirements, Oneindig sets up a dedicated plant just for them. The company makes the investment and enters into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), where a fixed rate is agreed upon. The client then purchases electricity directly at that pre-decided rate.

They also support government initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana by installing small rooftop systems, ranging from 2 to 15 kilowatts, for individual homes.

On the commercial front, Oneindig Technologies designs rooftop solar installations from 10 kilowatts upto 15 megawatts and more, assessing roof space and energy demands to deliver the right sized system for each client.

Along with customised solutions, service is another area where Oneindig Technologies stands out. Any complaint is resolved within 24 hours, and with over 2,000 solar plants installed, the company proudly maintains zero pending service issues in this category. Their expertise spans solar, wind, battery storage, and hybrid systems, with each installation uniquely designed to suit the site.

The company believes that moving to 100 percent renewable energy is the only way to slow environmental damage. Manoj hopes his legacy will be a lasting awareness of everyone’s responsibility to the planet. He wants people to respect, protect, and preserve the earth, not only for today but for generations to come.
