The Beginning
An electrical engineer and MBA by qualification, having over 20 years experience in the Indian Power sector, Puneet established Power green in 2016. “The time I started this company, I was around 3 years old in the solar energy sector and could see that the solar roof top segment was poised to grow, given the problems of Coal & Oil with

pollution and the governments’ focus on distributed Solar Power. Fossil fuels will not last for too long and renewable especially Solar would be the way to produce energy in the future, I was further motivated to start this company.

Powergreen, over the years, has come a long way and has registered a decent growth. In the current year i.e. 2018-19, it has been able to grow to three times the level of previous year.“Our target for next year is to double the business that we finish in 2018-19. The market looks good so far and last year we added another
business line with a partnership with Schneider Electric India, a leader in the Power Distribution sector,” he asserts.

The company has gradually expanded its workforce with its own designing and execution team. This has therefore helped it in expanding geographically as it has done projects in Maharashtra, Punjab and now Rajasthan.
