In 2014, when Suraj, Ravi and George were in college, they developed a website called batblob.comto provide users an opportunity to earn satoshi(a small unit of Bitcoin) with a simple click on advertisements. This was the first initiative taken by them towards the Cryptocurrencies. In the last year of college, they all got placed in MNCs-
nevertheless there was a spirit of entrepreneurship fueling them. As blockchain enthusiasts, they eventually reunited to work towards blockchain to unlock the true potential of disruptive technologies. George among them, was the first to leave his job and began a small venture name dethlabs.in where users could only buy Ethereum. However, the business model didn’t work much for the Indian users and they further decided to build an Exchange where users can buy/sell and store cryptocurrencies at any price they want. Later, Yateesh Bhardwaj and Siddhant Latiyan joined them to make team stronger in leading Operations and Management.
The market at this time had no such competition but there were players creating monopoly because of their business model. They were the ones who sold cryptocurrencies on high spread as they were the regulators - just conflicting Blockchain technology that was known for transparency and decentralization. Sragy started as a real time Exchange to provide opportunity to everyone to buy/sell cryptocurrencies at their own prices without any restriction.
The idea was to create a complete Altcoin market as there was no option to trade multiple cryptocurrencies. Thus, a platform was developed for Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Ripples, Dashcoin and Litecoin. Later, IOTA, Cardano and NEM were too added in the list.
