“My father's challenges in the logistics industry shaped the deeply personal foundation of Transton Logistiks. Growing up, I witnessed his struggles managing labor, truck drivers, fleets, and warehouse operations. These challenges inspired me to seek better solutions to simplify logistics operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the lives of those working in the sector. Addressing these issues has eased operational complexities and reduced costs, time, and in efficiencies for customers", says Sunil Pareek, Director, Transton Logistiks.
Transton Logistiks specializes in road transportation, offering daily services from Gujarat to major destinations such as Bangalore, West Bengal, and Rajasthan.
While the company also manages a smaller volume of goods transported via rail, it is actively exploring freight forwarding opportunities for imports and exports through air and sea, aiming to diversify logistics offerings and enhance service efficiency. Currently, the company's flagship service is road transportation. However, recognizing the growing demand for faster transit times, it plans to prioritize air and ocean freight. With businesses moving towards lean inventory models, minimizing lead times has become crucial, and air and ocean logistics provide the speed necessary to meet these needs.
Technology-Driven Logistics Solutions
Transton Logistiks emphasizes technological innovation, integrating IoT solutions, developing a proprietary ERP system, and training its workforce to achieve operational excellence. The company leverages cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience. In addition to standard offerings such as real-time tracking, automated WhatsApp and email notifications, and delivery schedule updates, it employs advanced AI and data analytics to optimize vehicle selection, load management, and route planning. This approach minimizes errors, streamlines operations, and delivers significant client benefits, including faster transit times, reduced costs, and seamless shipment tracking.
"From the start, we prioritized technology. These efforts have driven remarkable growth, with a ₹1.53 crore turnover in FY 2021-22. The company expanded significantly, achieving ₹4.8 crore in FY 2022-23 and ₹12 crore in FY 2023-24, with 30 branches across India. This year, it has achieved ₹30 crore. We remain committed to transforming the logistics sector through innovation and operational excellence", shares Sunil.
For smaller traders, Transton Logistiks provides affordable insurance solutions in partnership with leading providers. Larger clients, such as Adani, ISRO, BHEL, and the Ordnance Factory, rely on the company for their logistical needs, including transporting solar panels and heavy machinery. Notably, the company has managed over 1,500 tons of textile shipments from Ahmedabad to Bangalore, demonstrating its ability to handle diverse and large-scale projects.
Although geopolitical issues currently have minimal impact on the company due to its pan-India operations, Transton Logistiks remains vigilant about market dynamics. It acknowledges potential challenges, such as recent developments with major clients, which may influence its solar project-related business. "Further, we aim to expand into cross-border transportation via air and sea, aligning with India's growing export market. With a five-year goal of achieving ₹100 crore in revenue, we are focused on leveraging government initiatives and advancing its technological capabilities to solidify its position as a leader in the logistics industry", concludes Sunil.
