It would not be unfair to say that we are living in the age of disruptions. When the world's largest taxi company(uber) does not own any taxi, the world’s most popular media company(facebook) does n’t create any content, the world’s most valuable retailer (alibaba)does not carry any stock and the world's largest accommodation provider (airbnb)owns no property, you know something crazy is going on. The whole game is getting changed in real time and what you know today is no longer applicable tomorrow.

In simple language here’s how it looks: “At first, people living the old systems do not notice any changes. When they get some hints, they assume its minor and disregard the same. They say that it is superniche. Then they say that it is a fad. And by the time they understand the nuances the world around them has already changed and they have missed the bus.”

While we cannot predict all of the major disruptions that are going to unfold over the next decade, there are some predictions that would bring some disruptive shifts which will influence the future for all of us.

Human Augmentation&Organ Upgrade Industry:
It is a very high probability that we all would be upgrading our organs with better one's as the prosthetic and bionic
industry flourishes in the new couple of decades. The wave would start with basic prosthetics for the rich and handicap going to enhanced nonintrusive exoskeletons for thee lite going to final and permanent merger or complete removal of certain parts for instance, want a liver so your drinking appetite becomes better and can be replaced at beck and calls othere is no issue. Do a lot of heavy lifting work, grab a stronger arm. Even some basic human augmentation could allow civilian and military to work more effectively, and in environments that were previously inaccessible. The progress towards future retinal eye implants could enable night vision. With embedding of some neuro enhancements it could provide superior memory recall or speed of thought. Neuro pharmaceuticals would allow people to maintain concentration for longer periods of time and enhance their learning abilities.

SmartDust:
Imagine having complete real time data about every parameter there is which can be measured like global change in temperature, pollution levels and the likes at your beckand call, any time ,any where. Sounds crazyright? Not so much thanks to this new technology called smart dust. Smart-Dust devices are miniature wireless micro electro mechanical sensors(MEMS) that can detect almost evey thing from light to vibrations. These smart dust particles monitor everything with autonomous power supply within the volume of only a few milli meters. They are undetectable to the naked eye. These "smartdust" particles, as called them, would monitor every thing ,acting like electronic nerve endings for the planet. The smart dust would make observations and relay insights and chu nks of real-time data about people, cities and the natural environment. Hewlett-Packard,have already started to work on a secret project calling it the" Central Nervous System for the Earth.

Neuromorphic Hardware: With the rise of the race to achieve artificial general intelligence(when machines can actually perform any task intellectually capable by humans) as programmers create "neural Network" software to run on basic everyday computer chips, hardware engineers are also designing "neuromorphic" chips which can successfully imitate the brain function more efficiently. One of the major aspects about neuromorphic engineering is understanding how the morphology of individual neurons, circuits, applications, and overall processes creates desirable computations, and facilitates evolutionary change. The basic idea is to make technology learn more like human beings do and mathematically quantify “experiences”.

In today's world were billion dollar companies are going bankrupt in a matter of months and new companies who no one has ever heard of are becoming the show stoppers of the corporate world, this erademands adistinct style of leadership. It is the time for bold individuals who have a clear vision for the future of the human race and the grit to charge ahead in times of uncertainty and ambiguity.Courage is the need of the hour.
