FM Nirmala Sitharaman Speaks about India's "spectrum of opportunities" for Investors in India

Nirmala Sithraman, Union Finance Minister spoke to officials of top American companies that there is “spectrum of opportunities” for business companies and investors in India

2 days ago, top officials from Ben Capital, which invested about $5 billion in Indian companies, said the U.S. private investment is looking forward to making “more investments” in the county, and the next decade will be crucial for both India and America to work together to build businesses on a global basis.

Sithraman is currently in America on a week’s long visit to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington as well as Finance Ministers of G-20 countries and the Governor of Central Banks (FMCBG). She also met the officials of top American companies and discussed with them about the upcoming programmes under the “Atma Nirbhar Bharat”, the initiative of the central government introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During these events, Sitharaman has been meeting many of the leading U.S. CEOs and has taken an interest in capturing investment opportunities in the country.
The Finance Minister mentioned about several opportunities in the GIFT city in Gujarat and initiatives like the National Monetization Pipeline recently introduced the National Infrastructure Master Plan.

In her association with the CEO of Amway, Milind Pant focused on the discussion in the research and development, innovation, automation and nutrition section.
During her meeting with B. Marc Allen, the Chief Strategy Officer of Boeing was discussed in research and development, skill, aerospace sector, innovation and automation building.

She underlines the interest of the company in cooperation with in Make in India and “Atma Nirbhar Bharat” initiatives and for future investment.
