AuraML, an image data platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI), has received $230,000 (about Rs. 1.8 crore) in pre-seed funding from Indian Angel Network (IAN). The Bengaluru-based business plans to use the funds for hiring personnel, product development, and regional growth into the US and European markets.

AuraML, a platform for creating synthetic data that was introduced in January of this year by Ayush Sharma and Arjun Gupta, enabling computer vision teams to quickly and affordably create synthetic picture datasets.

"With the support of this investment, we can develop the technology from a working prototype into a finished product. We want to use these funds to extend our global footprint in the US and European markets, hire our founding engineering staff, develop technologies, and do other related things.

Our efforts to develop generative AI-based intellectual property (IP) will also be aided by this investment, according to Sharma.
