Deep-tech company Prantae Solutions has raised Rs. 5 crore in seed funding, led by IAN Group with participation from IAN Alpha Fund, Samir Kalia, Deepank Kumar, and Nitin Zamre. The funds will be used to launch new diagnostic solutions for kidney health and diabetes care, expand its product portfolio, and boost research and development, the company announced.

The Bhubaneswar-based firm aims to make healthcare more inclusive and empowering by delivering advanced diagnostic tools for early detection and management of chronic diseases.

Founded in 2015 by Sumona Karjee Mishra and Aseem Mishra, Prantae Solutions focuses on innovation-driven healthcare with strong intellectual property and differentiated technologies.

Prantae is recognized for developing accessible, point-of-care (POC) solutions that provide accurate and actionable medical insights. Its flagship product, Proflo-U, addresses kidney health with a unique detection range from microalbumin to proteinuria. Leveraging proprietary nanosensors, IoT, and AI, Proflo-U offers a calibration-free, cost-effective, and user-friendly approach to testing, enhancing patient outcomes and reducing costs.

India’s point-of-care diagnostics market, valued at $1.41 billion in FY2024, is forecasted to grow at an 8.47% CAGR, reaching $2.71 billion by FY2032.

Globally, the market is expected to rise from $30.87 billion in 2023 to $51.19 billion by 2032, highlighting significant growth potential for innovative solutions like those from Prantae.
