- Ember to scale R&D, manufacturing, and Indian market presence
- Chef Saransh Goila joins as partner, to lead Innovation Lab
- Startup targets Rs 30 crore ARR by FY 2026
Ember, a premium cookware startup founded in 2024 by Siddharth Gadodia and Himanshi Tandon, has raised $3.2 million in a fresh funding round from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and existing investors.
The round also saw participation from Yogabar co-founder Suhasini Sampath, entrepreneur Apurva Salarpuria, and celebrity chef Saransh Goila.
Ember specializes in toxin-free cookware, built with its proprietary Arcilla ceramic coating and Thermoclad technology. The brand collaborates with global design firm Box Clever in California for product design, while manufacturing takes place in Italy to ensure durability and performance tailored for Indian cooking.

The newly raised capital will be directed toward expanding R&D, scaling manufacturing, and strengthening the brand’s presence in the Indian market.
“Our company is built on defensible technology, so core R&D remains a priority. Alongside this, we are looking at growth across new product categories and distribution channels,” said co-founder Himanshi Tandon.
As part of its next phase, Ember has onboarded chef Saransh Goila not only as an investor but also as a partner. He will lead the brand’s newly established Innovation Lab, which will experiment with solutions designed specifically for Indian kitchens.
“India’s kitchens deserve better, and the only way forward is to design the kitchen of the future. That’s where the real opportunity lies,” said Goila.
Currently, Ember sells its products through its own website and major e-commerce platforms, with direct-to-consumer sales contributing 60% of revenue. The startup has also received early interest from international distributors in the UK, Dubai, and Singapore but will remain focused on India for the near term. By fiscal 2026, it aims to achieve an annual recurring revenue of Rs 30 crore.
