InvestorAi, an AI-driven equity investment platform, has secured Rs 80 crore or about $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Ashish Kacholia, founder of Lucky Investment Managers, along with his associates.

The startup plans to use the funds to expand its business operations and introduce new products.

InvestorAi, established in the year 2018 by Akshaya Bhargava and Bruce Keith, employs state-of-the-art AI models and robotics to create customized stock suggestions designed explicitly for India's market.

The suggestions are packaged into convenient investment solutions which offer a streamlined user experience of both recommendation and delivery with just one click.

According to the startup, their exceptional AI methods and models incorporate advanced techniques like computer vision which convert complicated financial data into images that enhance prediction accuracy. Furthermore, they utilize genetic algorithms among other strategies to generate investment-ready equity baskets or model portfolios.

Big hedge funds such as Renaissance and Citadel have traditionally been the only ones with access to sophisticated AI. However, at InvestorAi, we had a plan for making this advanced technology available to retail investors. Our pride lies in our three-year track record of producing robust investment returns that significantly outperform the index," stated Akshaya Bhargava, Chairman and Co-Founder of InvestorAi.

At present, numerous top broking platforms such as HDFC Securities, Geojit, PL, JM Financial Services,Yes Securities,IIFL Securities , 5Paisa and Axis securities have integrated InvestorAi's offerings.

The CEO of InvestorAi, Bruce Keith commented that, India's retail investor base stands at approximately 150 million and is expanding by 3 million each month. The Indian stock market is anticipated to grow from its current market capitalization of $4.8 trillion to $10 trillion by 2030. Despite this growth, only 7% of household income is currently invested in direct equities, highlighting a significant untapped market opportunity that could be addressed through AI-driven equity financing guidance.

Keith also added “InvestorAi claims to be the sole platform in the Indian market that offers a multi-product, multi-broker, and multi-manager approach while also creating its own market-leading content. The AI models driving the platform have been trained on 14 years of stock market data and have consistently delivered superior returns since 2022. Additionally, these AI models are integrated with an advanced delivery engine, InvestorAi YouTrade, which offers a seamless one-click experience directly within the broker's mobile or online platform.”

The founder of Lucky Investment Managers, Ashish Kacholia said that, they have been a long term investor of Indian capital markets and witnessed wealth creation opportunities.

InvestorAi’s platforms and the InvestorAi suite of products are leveraging the excellence of technology and aiming to help the new generation of investors to start their wealth creation journey in one of the fastest and best performing markets in the world.

Kacholia also added,"We believe that InvestorAi’s domain expertise in investments, products, innovative technology and a very experienced team really makes InvestorAi one of the true outliers in the wealthtech segment."
