Kimirica, a homegrown luxury hospitality and beauty brand, has secured $15 million funding from Carnelian Asset Management LLP, spearheaded by market veteran Vikas Khemani.

The Indore-headquartered firm plans to increase its revenue from  Rs 300 crore to  Rs 1,000 crore in the next three to four years, building both its B2B hospitality business, Kimirica Hunter, as well as direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand Kimirica Lifestyle.

Started in 2013 by Mohit Jain, Rajat Jain, Kimi Jain, and Rica Jain, Kimirica was initially a bootstrapped company to localise toiletries of hotels in a market controlled by Chinese imports. Now, the company grew to export to more than 70 nations and provides service to more than 10,000 luxury hotels and airlines such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Accor, Leela, and Air India.

The company has expanded to consumer retail with vegan, cruelty-free, and fair-trade-certified products in skin care, body care, fragrances, gifting, and home wellness. It is one of the top-selling brands on Nykaa, Amazon, Tira, and quick-commerce websites, and it is increasing its retail presence in India and the Middle East with 10+ experiential stores under development.

Kimirica is also investing in a 6 lakh sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Indore  the largest in South Asia in its segment  with an annual production capacity of  Rs 1,500–2,000 crore, with an eye on exports to the US, Middle East, and Europe. The fresh funding will drive its omnichannel retail growth and international market outreach.
