The upscale skincare and personal care company RAS reported that it has raised $1.5 million from existing investors and the New York-based venture capital firm Green Frontier Capital, which focuses on sustainability. The luxury direct-to-consumer (D2C) skincare and cosmetics firm, founded by Sangeeta Jain and her two daughters Shubhika Jain and Suramya Jain, claims to have grown 300% year over year since its launch in 2017. The company claims that their skincare products are loaded with the advantages of active botanicals.

"Our ingredients are grown organically on our own farms or purchased from respected local producers who are known for their freshness and purity. According to Suramya Jain, co-founder and chief marketing officer of RAS, "The ingredients are researched, developed, and made in our internal, DSIR-approved R&D facility, followed by packing and prompt shipping to our consumers.

The company's own direct-to-consumer website, Nykaa, Amazon, as well as other e-commerce sites like Blinkit and Flipkart, are among its methods for distribution and sales. Also, it provides goods to upscale resorts, spas, and airlines.

Sandiip Bhammer, founder and co-managing partner of Green Frontier Capital, "RAS' products, which are entirely vegan, all-natural, and plant-based, are also non-toxic and have generated powerful results." The business claimed to have increased hiring at its Raipur and Mumbai locations and is boosting its brand recognition by collaborating with the appropriate channels.

"We are a Made-in-India company with the goal of revolutionising the world's beauty sector, and we aim to appeal to a sophisticated worldwide audience. Shubhika Jain, founder and CEO of RAS, stated that GFC "understands our vision and goal deeply and we are delighted to have them partner with us and be aligned as we continue to scale our growth story."
