Metadome.ai raises $6.5 million in its series A Funding Round led by Siana Capital & Chiratae

Metadome.ai The startup which works with extended reality has raised nearly $6.5 million in its series A funding round. The newly attracted fund was raised by the grace of few investors like Siana Capita and existing investor Chiratae Ventures with a mix of equity and debt round. The other investors whose presence graced the funding round were Alteria Capital, 3to-1 Capital, and Manish Choksi’s family office.

In a press release the company said that, they has decided to use this fresh proceed to expand their business to new regions and develop capabilities to provide advanced XR technologies with advancements in AI.

The firm with its heavy ticket fund, wants to bolster up their hold US, SE Asia, and the Middle East regions. Prior to this round, the company has raised $4 million in its pre-Series A round led by Chiratae.

The company was founded in 2016 by Kanav Singla, Shorya Mahajan and Kartik Kanaujia, Metadome. It specializes in sales enablement using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) solutions in home decor, e-commerce, and mobility. It works with Hewlett Packard (HP), Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints, and others.

Since its initial stage the company Metadome.ai has been growing organically and its customer base has more than doubled since last year.

Recently, during the last year Metadome was partnered with Hippo Homes who first introduced the utilization of virtual reality experience at its new store in Greater Noida where customers can explore home improvement solutions.

Statista reported, the XR industry has been managing significant interest from investors globally. As per the report, the space attracted an investment of $1.9 billion, outlining the importance of 3D, AR, and VR in improving the customer buying and post-sales cycle.

The company is also a bright part of NVIDIA’s Inception and Google Startup programs. Few more companies who are using extended reality are SmartVizX, Liminal, Embright Infotech, Scapic, and GMetri.
