Mom & Baby Care Brand The Moms Co Receives $8 Million in Funding

Team StartupcityThe Moms Co, a mom and baby focused consumer goods startup has raised $8 Million in Series B funding. This round of funding included Saama Capital and DSG Consumer Partners, along with angel investors, Shripad Nadkarni, an early investor in Paper Boat & Epigamia and Beardo founders, Ashutosh Valani & Priyank Shah.
The New Delhi based company that manufactures natural and toxin free self-care products, intends to utilize this capital to reach the 100 crore mark, the fastest for any D2C brand. Another one of the firm’s focuses will be to widen its natural, toxin-free product portfolio by launching new products for moms and babies in the next two years. The company will expand into newer retail formats, invest in technology and launch global operations.

Founded by Malika, a banker turned entrepreneur and Mohit Sadani, an experienced consumer goods & retail consultant, The Moms Co has launched maternity care, baby care, hair care and face care products so far. Working with experts across India, Australia and Switzerland, the company claims to create products that are safe, natural and meet the highest standards for ingredient safety around the world.
