Bengaluru based startup MyWonder has come out of stealth with a bold mission, redefining how young children learn and play, without screens.

Founded by second-time entrepreneurs and parents Chandramouli K and Venkat Potluri, MyWonder has raised $300,000 in pre-seed funding from Antler India. The startup has also been chosen for the Google for Startups AI First Accelerator program, boosting its credibility and global ambitions.

MyWonder’s device is built for children aged 3 to 10. It uses voice based AI to offer engaging, screen-free experiences through stories, games, and interactive characters. The aim is to spark curiosity, creativity, and learning without the downsides of screen time.

Chandramouli, Co-Founder of MyWonder, said, “We wanted to build something as fun as digital entertainment but healthier”. He added, “Our device engages kids in meaningful play while keeping them away from screens”.

In early beta tests, 60% of kids used the device three times a week, with average daily use at 81 minutes. Some even spent up to four hours on busy days.

The startup is targeting India’s $2 billion edtech hardware space, aiming to sell 100,000 units in its first year with projected revenues of $4.5 million. Plans for global expansion are already in motion.

MyWonder is partnering with a Bengaluru school network and publishers like Hachette India to scale up. Preschools will serve as live experience centers for parents and kids to try the device.

Antler India’s Rajiv Srivatsa summed it up, “MyWonder blends AI, empathy, and play in a way that keeps learning meaningful”.
