Gurgaon based clean tech startup PeakAmp has raised Rs 12 crore in a seed funding round led by Caret Capital. The round also saw participation from IIM Ahmedabad Ventures, Basant Sharma & Group, and other angel investors from the clean tech, mining, and recycling sectors.
Founded in 2024 by Vijay Gond and Aditya Sudhanshu, PeakAmp is building India’s first full stack battery circularity platform. In just a few months, the startup has made strong progress, running successful pilots with top industry players.
What makes PeakAmp stand out is its technology driven materials recovery system, which delivers over 99% efficiency and purity for key metals like lithium, nickel, and copper. The company also focuses on reverse logistics, building a network to safely collect and trace end of life (EOL) batteries across the country.
PeakAmp’s platform goes beyond recycling. It includes cell diagnostics to check battery health and enable second life applications, giving used batteries a longer life and reducing environmental impact. The startup also ensures end to end traceability and strict compliance throughout the battery value chain.

India’s EV sector is expected to grow from $35 billion in 2024 to $111 billion by 2029, which will lead to a surge in battery waste. However, current recycling capacity is far from enough India faces an 8x shortfall. PeakAmp aims to fill this critical gap by transforming waste into reusable resources, helping India build a cleaner and self-reliant energy ecosystem.
