Stanza Living to Raise $32 Million to Boost Accommodation Network

Managed accommodation startup Stanza Living to raise Rs 282.76 crore (around $32 million) in its Series E round, led by existing investor Accel, with participation from Motilal Oswal. The latest funding marks a down round, valuing the company at about Rs 2,812 crore ($320 million), a 28% dip from its previous valuation of Rs 3,900 crore.

According to regulatory filings, Stanza Living issued 5,313 Series E CCPS shares at Rs 5.32 lakh each to raise the capital. Accel contributed Rs 222.78 crore ($25.3 million), while Motilal Oswal infused Rs 60 crore ($6.8 million). Funds from Accel have already been received, with Motilal Oswal’s investment expected shortly.

Founded in 2017, Delhi-based Stanza Living offers tech-enabled managed accommodation for students and young professionals. The company currently manages over 75,000 beds across 24 cities in India.

Before this round, Stanza Living had raised over $240 million through equity and debt from investors including Alpha Wave, Peak XV Partners, Accel, and Z47.

In FY24, the company reported Rs 584 crore in revenue and cut losses by 45% to Rs 273 crore, reflecting stronger cost controls and operational efficiency. The new funds are expected to help Stanza Living expand its footprint and further enhance its service offerings.
