Tribe Stays Secures $2.8 Million to Expand Premium Long-Stay Accommodation Network
- Raises $2.8 Million seed round led by Artha Venture Fund and Riverwalk
- Plans to expand from 650 to 1,650 beds this year
- Aims to scale to 25,000 beds across major tier I and tier II cities
Tribe Stays, a premium long-stay hospitality brand, has raised $2.8 million (Rs 24 crore) in a seed funding round co-led by Artha Venture Fund and Riverwalk Holdings. The round also saw participation from Kunal Khanna, Krishna Jain, and several HNIs and family offices, reflecting strong investor interest in the fast-growing managed-accommodation space.
The fresh capital will help Tribe Stays expand all three of its sub-brands, Tribe Student Accommodation, Tribe Commune, and Tribe Suites. The company currently operates 650 beds in Pune and plans to add 1,000 more within this financial year. Its larger goal is to scale to 25,000 beds across tier I and tier II cities, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune.
Founded by Yogesh Mehra, Tribe Stays focuses on providing high-quality, hassle-free living spaces for students, working professionals, corporate travelers, and executives. Each sub-brand caters to a specific audience, but all share the same promise, safe, comfortable, and well-managed accommodation with modern amenities and community-driven experiences.
Tribe is also building partnerships with universities and companies that need reliable long-stay housing solutions for students or employees relocating for work. The company aims to strengthen its footprint by combining hospitality, community living, and efficient property management into a seamless offering.
