Two Point O Capital scoops up $6.3 million in Seed Funding round led by Omnivore

Climate focused financing platform Two Point O Capital, which targets the clean energy sector, has bagged $6.3 million in its seed funding round led by Omnivore.

The funding round was also graced by the presence of multiple investors such as Multiply Ventures, RTP Global, GrowX, Spectrum Impact, and a group of notable angel investors.

The startup was founded to cater the special need for flexible and efficient capital in the distributed clean energy sector. There is a certain unmet demand of over $10 billion annually for financing distributed projects, but the traditional financing sources are supporting for large scale utility project.

This platform is specially designed to address this gap by offering innovative financial solutions for projects such as solar rooftops, energy efficiency equipment, and wastewater treatment.

The company was established by a team of seasoned professionals—Archit Mehrotra, Karan Bhutani, Manya Ranjan, and Shashidhar Reddy in 2024. The company has a combined experience of over 70 years in clean energy technologies, project financing, and credit underwriting.

The founding members of the company are graduated from prestigious institutes like IIT, MIT, INSEAD, and IIM, and have held leadership positions at renowned firms such as McKinsey, Shell, BP, and ReNew.

Two Point O Capital intends to utilize the raised capital to improve its tech-enabled platform, which assists in sourcing, underwriting, financing, and monitoring clean energy projects.

The startup aims to partner with various operational and financial stakeholders to create a high-quality portfolio and manage it throughout its lifecycle on this platform.

Additionally, the funds will be used to recruit top talent across different functions to strengthen their team further the founders said that the investment will accelerate their growth trajectory to attract the best talent to build a top-tier team.
