Visa2Fly Raises $2 Million Seed Funding to Disrupt Visa Application Process

Separator

Visa2Fly, a Singapore-based travel technology startup aimed at making the visa application process easier, has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Singapore-based venture capital firm M Venture Partners. Flipkart Ventures, FinSight Ventures, and Thinkuvate also contributed to the funding round.

Even with advances in flight and hotel booking, obtaining a visa is still one of the most difficult and infuriating parts of traveling, particularly for foreign-bound Indian tourists. The Ministry of Tourism reported that in 2024, more than 28 million Indian citizens traveled abroad.

While online travel agencies (OTAs) and large travel brands have made it easier to book flights, hotels, and activities, visa availability remains a major obstacle, defined by confusing application processes, delays, and inefficiencies.

Visa2Fly seeks to eliminate this problem using AI-powered automation, real-time monitoring, and smooth integrations, giving travelers a more efficient visa application experience.

Partnerships with Top Travel Brands

Launched in 2022 by Vijayendra Bawa and Dhruv Kumar, Visa2Fly has forged an extensive network of collaborations with major travel players such as ixigo, Acko, NiyoGlobal, SpiceJet, and WeGo, embedding its visa offerings into their platforms. The platform enables passengers to apply for visas to more than 70 destinations across the globe, including the UAE, Singapore, Vietnam, Egypt, the UK, and countries across Europe.

"Visas have been one of the most antiquated parts of travel for a long time—baffling, time-consuming, and unpredictable. While travel companies and OTAs have revolutionized the way we book and plan our trips, it all depends on one key factor: visa approvals," said Vijayendra Bawa.

Funding Objectives

The startup plans to use the freshly raised funds to further develop its tech-enabled verification tools, automate visa processing, and enhance partnerships with top travel platforms. In doing so, Visa2Fly will enable travelers to enjoy hassle-free visa solutions, and visa-related hurdles will no longer stand in the way of global discovery.

"With this investment, we're dedicated to solving this global problem once and for all. Through further automating key processes, incorporating AI-driven verification mechanisms, and facilitating greater accessibility, we hope to remove the inefficiencies that have weighed on travelers for decades," Bawa said.
