WickedGud Secures Rs 20 Crore Funding to Expand D2C Food Portfolio
- Shilpa Shetty-backed WickedGud raises Rs 20 crore from existing investors
- Funds to boost offline and online presence, supply chain, and product innovation
- Focus on high-velocity products like cup noodles and Korean-style noodles
Mumbai-based D2C food brand WickedGud, Co-founded by Bhuman Dani in 2021, has raised Rs 20 crore in its latest funding round, led by existing investors including Orios Venture Partners, Asiana Fund, and Shilpa Shetty. Other investors participating in the round include Shajikumar Devakar, Ajay Mehta, Sonika Ravula, and Rahul Colaco. This follows the company’s previous Rs 20 crore raise in December 2024 and a $250,000 round in June 2023.
The funding will help WickedGud expand its footprint across modern trade, general trade, and digital platforms, strengthen supply chain operations, and accelerate product innovation in high-demand segments such as cup noodles and Korean-style spicy noodles. The brand emphasizes 'unjunking' India with healthy yet indulgent food products made using wholesome ingredients and SCAD (steaming and convection air drying) technology.
WickedGud operates in the competitive instant noodles and pasta market, focusing on taste, accessibility, and affordability. Its products are available on major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Zepto, Blinkit, and Instamart. Offline, the brand is present in over 5,000 retail outlets nationwide, including more than 1,500 Reliance Smart Bazaar stores and 50 DMart stores.

The company aims to scale its offerings while retaining a broad consumer appeal without being limited to premium-only positioning.
