Infosys signed an Acquisition deal with InSemi

Tech giant Infosys has locked an acquisition deal of Rs.280 crore with Bengaluru-based semiconductor design firm InSemi. The startup was founded in 2013 and offers end-to-end semiconductor design services and has a vast knowledge in the field of electronic design, platform design, automation, embedded, and software technologies. According to the media statement of Infosys, this strategic move will help them to introduce a ‘Chip-to-Cloud strategy’, by bringing niche design skills at scale. With the advent of digitalization, semiconductors became the heart of every cutting-edge device. This deal will help the software company to achieve a strong growth trajectory in this field. The deal was signed in January 2024.

Onsitego acquired Qdigi Services from Quess Corp

Device care provider, Onsitego which is backed by Accel has entered into an acquisition deal of Rs. 80 crore. After the completion of all the transactions, the whole team and business of Qdigi will be transferred to Onsitego. This acquisition deal will help Onsitego to expand its market and business opportunities and also enhance its customer satisfaction by improving after-sale services. The tech-based startup Qdigi offers installation, repair, and maintenance services to OEMs like Samsung, Apple, One Plus, Xiaomi, and so on, and online retailers like Amazon.

The Founder & CEO, of Onsitego, Kunal Mahipal said, “The acquisition of Qdigi will further add to our service capabilities and market offerings. While we will expand Qdigi’s existing relationships, we are also looking to target new OEM partners and retailers to accelerate growth”.
