Startups In Deep Tech Are Developing Ground Breaking Technologies With A High Impact

The industry is continuing its drive towards catalyzing deep tech start-ups, building category leaders and supporting start-ups to create not only for India but also scale up and solve for the world. Deep tech is becoming the buzzword in the Indian startup ecosystem. A bunch of homegrown companies are using new-age technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, cloud, and the internet-of-things (IoT) to solve real-world problems, and essentially, alter the way humans lead daily lives.
According to a report from KPMG, India was ranked third in a startup survey, as 13 per cent of the global technology industry leaders indicate its potential for tech breakthroughs. Deep tech startups will drive this transformation as well as spearhead the broad structural transformation of the economy. Also, a NASSCOM report revealed that it will continue to catalyze and support deep tech startups, and help build category leaders who can create viable solutions for India. There has also been a spurt in funding in deep tech startups, as investor interest in niche products and platforms has increased significantly. Technologies such as AI, IoT, Blockchain, ML, and VR are leading the startup space and attracting interest and activity.
