Computer Game-developing Startup 'Felicity' wins $700K in Pre-Seed Funding round

A inventive game developing and publishing startup Felicity has baged $700K in its Pre-seed funding round from the financial bankers including DeVC, Visceral Capital and other angel investors such as Kunal Shah from CRED, Former CEO of Nazara, Manish Agarwal, Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy from Swiggy and Sameer Pittalwala, Gaming Head, Google Cloud (APAC) and many others.

The raised proceeds will be deployed towards testing 10 more games by the month of March 2025. The company intends to streamline the revenue into 10 times by the end of the year.

Established in the year 2023 by Former executive of Swiggy, Anurag Choudhary, the startup Felicity has launched two titles recently, ‘Seek & Find’ & ‘Nova Solitaire’ that are by now unit economics positive in US and some other western markets more than 100,000 downloads within a span of 3 months.

Within just one year, felicity has introduced more than 10 game titles that are played by over a million users per month across 14 geographical localities.

Speaking to this significant fundraise, Anurag Choudhary, the Founder & CEO of Felicity Games expresses, “Given our cost and skill advantages, Felicity Games is well placed to build a multi-million-dollar casual gaming business from India for the world.”

Similarly, the Founding member from DeVC, Divyanshi Chowdhary states, “Felicity has a unique vision to mobilise the growing ecosystem of Indie developers with the capability of producing high-quality game prototypes at a fraction of the cost. Felicity combines an objective approach to commercial testing with iterations on non-conventional channels to drive risk-adjusted growth for new IPs, unlocking developer friendly publishing for the indie ecosystem”.
