GROWiT Secures $3M Series A to Boost Climate-Smart Farming

• GROWiT raises $3M Series A led by GVFL to scale climate-resilient agritech solutions.
• Launches India’s first affordable Soil Health Testing Device, empowering smallholder farmers.
• Serving 225,000+ farmers across 12 states, with yield improvements up to 100%.
GROWiT India, a pioneering agritech startup that is advocating protective farming solutions, has raised $3 million in Series A funding from GVFL as the lead investor. Veloce Opportunities Fund, JITO, We Founder Circle, Sunicon Ventures Fund, Progrowth Ventures, and Hyderabad Angels also participated in the round.
This new capital injection will drive GROWiT's aggressive growth initiatives, which include further investments in research and development, upgrading of technological infrastructure, and expansion of operations in India and internationally. It seeks to take its export business to Africa and other emerging countries while further creating affordable, climate-resilient solutions designed specifically for smallholder farmers.
"Indian agriculture is still behind in terms of technology adoption," opined Mihir Joshi, GVFL Managing Director. "GROWiT's robust product portfolio and distribution network give farmers the ability to increase yield and income through cost-effective climate-smart solutions. Supporting such innovation is in line with our purpose, and we believe GROWiT is a leader in this space."
Saurabh Agarwal, GROWiT’s Founder and CEO, highlighted the importance of accessible technology in combating climate risks in agriculture. “As climate change accelerates, tech-enabled resilience is critical. Yet, most farmers in India lack access to affordable agri-tech. At GROWiT, we’re focused on tools that enhance productivity, lower input costs, and promote sustainable practices.”
One of the most significant achievements of this mission was the launch of India's first affordable Soil Health Testing Device in April 2025. The device delivers actionable insights about soil quality and crop suitability to farmers enabling data-driven decision-making at the grassroots level. The product has already achieved significant popularity among farmers and agri-sector partners.
GROWiT's expansive product line comprises Mulch Films, Crop Covers, Weed Mats, and other agri-protective inputs to enhance yields and support sustainable agriculture. The company currently operates via an extensive network of more than 650 franchise partners spread over 12 states, interacting with over 225,000 farmers.
The firm asserts its offerings have resulted in yield uplifts of 40–60%, and in certain instances, as much as 100% illustrating their revolutionary nature in Indian agriculture.
As India's agritech industry is expected to reach $30–35 billion by the year 2027, GROWiT is well-positioned to be part of the trend in tech-enabled farming, providing scalable, actionable solutions to empower millions of Indian farmers.
