Mirror Security, a cybersecurity startup focused on AI-native security, has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Sure Valley Ventures and Atlantic Bridge. The funding will support the company’s global expansion, build its AI and engineering teams, and accelerate product development in secure AI systems.

Founded in 2024 by Pankaj Thapa and Aditya Narayana K, Mirror Security is a spin-out from University College Dublin with operations in Ireland, the US, and India. Its platform, 'Security of AI', offers tools like AgentIQ for full-spectrum agentic security, DiscoveR for automated red-teaming, and VectaX, a Fully Homomorphic Encryption engine that protects sensitive data during AI model training and inference.

The startup is addressing a critical challenge for enterprises adopting AI: ensuring data confidentiality without compromising performance. Its encrypted AI solutions enable secure processing of sensitive information across industries. Mirror Security has already formed strategic partnerships with Inception AI, Intel, MongoDB, Qdrant, SiSys AI, and Accops to deploy its full suite of AI security solutions.
