EPACK Prefab secures $20 million in its 1st Funding round
Pre-engineered building (PEB) and prefabricated structure turnkey solutions provider EPACK Prefab has raised $20 million from global private equity fund GEF Capital Partners in its first funding round.
Founded in 1999, EPACK Prefab focuses on rapid construction techniques and sustainability while producing PEB, prefabricated modular buildings, and insulation products.
The capital infusion, according to EPACK Prefab, will increase the company's manufacturing capacity at its state-of-the-art facilities located in Mambattu, Andhra Pradesh; Ghiloth, Rajasthan; and Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The combined yearly production capacity of these plants is approximately 133,924 metric tonnes.
The money will mostly go toward expanding production capacity, launching new product lines, and capital expenditures. The startup also intends to assess opportunities in foreign markets and increase its market penetration within India.
Sanjay Singhania, managing director of EPACK Prefab, said, "This funding is a testament to our vision and the capabilities of prefabrication and PEB technologies." "It fortifies our determination to transform construction methods by providing inventive, eco-friendly, and expeditious building solutions."
When compared to traditional construction, EPACK Prefab's modular technologies encourage a lower carbon footprint. Prefabrication is a greener option for the construction industry because it uses recyclable materials, reduces material waste, and promotes higher design efficiency.
"The company's solutions drive the shift to sustainable construction practices," EPACK Prefab executive director Nikhel Bothra stated.
With the construction of one of India's fastest buildings in just 150 hours, EPACK Prefab recently set a record, demonstrating its dedication to quick and environmentally friendly building methods.
